Nantahala River

Nantahala River (Topton, NC)- the Nantahala River offers two very different and unique fishing opportunities for anglers. First is the upper Nantahala, a freestone delayed harvest stocked trout fishery. Offering beautiful scenery, and amazing fishing in the fall, winter and spring, the upper Nantahala is one of our go to fisheries.

Last but not least is the lower Nantahala, a tailwater wild trout fishery. The water comes from 100 feet down on lake Nantahala, keeping the water cold year-round, making it our go to summer fishery. With very technical, fast striking wild rainbows, the lower Nantahala is the perfect challenge for an experienced angler looking to sharpen their skills.

Tuckaseegee River

Tuckaseegee River (Cullowhee, NC)- The tuckaseegee River is a tailwater delayed harvert river flowing from Ceder cliff and Glenville Lake. It flows from Tuckasegee, through Cullowhee and dumps into lake Fontana in Bryson city. It offers excellent fishing for wade fishing anglers and anglers fishing from a raft. One of our best high density trout streams in the state and one of our spring and fall go to streams.

East Fork French Broad River ( Rosman, NC)- the East Fork of the French broad is a freestone delayed harvest trout stream offering gorgeous scenery and fantastic fishing. It is a smaller stream Located 50 minutes from downtown Ashville, this is our go to fishery for clients staying in the Brevard/ Ashville area.

Raven Fork/ Oconaluftee River

Raven Fork/ Oconaluftee River ( Cherokee, NC)- located in Cherokee North Carolina this free stone water shed offers anglers an opportunity to experience almost every style of flyfishing we have to offer in the southeast. From high elevation, small wild trout streams, to a chance at a monster trout in the trophy section, it’s hard to go wrong with the Oconaluftee river water shed.

Soque River (Batesville, GA)- located in Batesville Georgia, the Soque river is the crème de la crème big fish opportunity in the southeast. Wildwater Fly Fishing has access to the very best stretch of private water on this side of the Mississippi. There’re are no words to describe this river, you just have to get out and experience this once in a lifetime fishery for yourself.
